Co-Lab

Privacy Policy

Effective October 26, 2026

This policy explains how Co-Lab Online, LLC (“Co-Lab,” “we,” “us”), 201 E 4th St, Santa Ana, CA 92701, collects, uses and shares information when you visit co-lab.us or contact us about our incubator kitchens, food stalls and related services.

Information you give us

  • Contact details and what you tell us in our forms: name, email, phone number, business name, what you make and what you need, and how you heard about us.
  • Newsletter signups: your email address.
  • Application and membership details you send us, including documents you sign electronically.
  • Payment for application fees and services is handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Notes from calls, emails and tours with our team.

Information collected automatically

When you use the site, we and our partners use cookies and similar tools to collect your IP address, device and browser type, pages you view, how you arrived (for example, from an ad or a search), and how you interact with pages. We use:

  • Google Analytics to understand how people use the site.
  • Google Ads to measure which ads lead to inquiries and applications.
  • The Meta pixel to measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Microsoft Clarity for heat maps and session recordings that show how visitors use our pages, so we can improve them. Clarity masks what you type into form fields.

How we use information

  • To answer your inquiry, schedule tours and calls, review applications, and provide our services.
  • To send updates and our newsletter; you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
  • To measure and improve our advertising. When someone who came from an ad sends us an application, we may share an encrypted (hashed) version of their email address or phone number with Google so Google can match it to the ad click. Google cannot read the original from the hash.
  • To improve the website, prevent spam and abuse, and keep records required by law.

How we share information

  • With service providers who help us run the business (hosting, databases, email, scheduling, e-signature and payments), only to do that work for us.
  • With advertising and analytics partners (Google, Meta and Microsoft) as described above.
  • When required by law, or to protect our rights, our members and the public.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Using ad partners to measure and show ads can count as “sharing” under California law; see your choices below.

Your choices and California privacy rights

You can ask to know what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of the sharing of your information for advertising. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. To make a request, email ryan@co-lab.us with the subject “Privacy request.” We may need to confirm your identity first.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on, and manage ad personalization in your Google and Meta account settings.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and member records for as long as we need them to work with you and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymize them.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no website or system is completely secure.

Children

Our site and services are for adults running or starting a business. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
